Sponsorship and Speaking Opportunities
SHRM Charleston is the local SHRM chapter that serves Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. We have excellent attendance at our meetings. If you are not aware, Charleston has experienced exceptional growth in population and on average 42-45 people move here each day! With this change, the Charleston area is experiencing a tremendous amount of growth in all industries. The services and/or the expertise that you offer are an asset to our membership which is the largest group of Human Resource professionals in the area. Meeting Location
Hilton Garden Inn 5265 International Dr. North Charleston (behind Wendy’s; use the entrance on the right side of the building)
monthly member meeting Sponsor Details
- Sponsorship features up to two representatives from your organization at the meeting which includes lunch.
- There will be a table near the entrance to the meeting space for the sponsor to utilize.
- Meeting attendees will visit the sponsor before the meeting starts and at the end of the meeting.
- Sponsors will have an opportunity to speak in front of membership about the services that they offer for 3-5 minutes prior to the beginning of the program.
- Sponsor logo will be displayed on the meeting tables during the meeting.
- Sponsor will be recognized in the power point presentation that plays before the meeting begins on the big screen in the meeting room.
- SHRM Charleston accepts raffle items from sponsors to be given away during the meeting.

Speaker Details
- Speaker biographies and program information will be placed on this web site and emailed to members for marketing and registration. We will also advertise on social media.
- Please arrive one hour prior to the meeting start time to set up and to meet members.
- Lunch will be provided, unless the session is virtual.
- Speaker presentations should run for an hour, to include 15 minutes for questions.
- The presentation must remain educational, as selling services/products, etc. is not allowed as a speaker. If you are interested in sharing information about your company, products, services, etc. Please inquire about sponsorship opportunities!
- After your information is received and reviewed, a SHRM Charleston Board Member will reach out to you for logistics details.
- At this time, we are unable to pay any speaker fees, travel fees/costs, etc.
